My professional work has started in Turkey in 2010 with the movie titled “ EV” by Caner Özyurtlu. In 2007, I was invited to work on a Turkish production TV series called “ Elveda Rumeli“, which was filmed in Macedonia, where I met directors Serdar Akar and Tarkan Karlıdağ. Then continued on to films that occupy a significant place in Serbian cinema, like “ Midwinter Night Dream” and “ The Optimists” by director Goran Paskaljević, “ Duds” by Radoslav Raša Andrić, “ Normal people” by Oleg Novković, “ The Red Coloured Grey Truck” by Srdjan Koljević, as can be seen in the list of references of their CV and IMdb pages respectively. I worked on a number of movies in Macedonian cinema, including “ Gipsy Magic” by Stole Popov, “ Bal-can-can” by Darka Mitreskog, and “ Dust” by Milcho Manchevski. I gained an invaluable amount of professional experience through working with cinematographers Darius Kondji and Thieri Arbogast. Then I worked on films such as “ Tri Karte za Holivud“, “ Tango Argentino“, “ Ni na nebu Ni na zemlji”…īetween 19 I continued as a makeup artist and a hair stylist for films such as “ Before the rain” directed by Milcho Manchevski, “ Black Cat, White Cat” by Emir Kusturuca, and “ Pretty Village, Pretty Flame” by Srdjan Dragojević. On this project I improved my skills in making wigs, moustaches, beards, etc., working in a team for aging main characters who gradually go through the four stages of life. Thanks to my mentors Giancarlo del Brocco and Michel Deruelle and of course with the masterful guidance of my mother Radmila Todorović, I entered the fascinating world of film masks by signing on to the TV series “ Aleksa Šantić“, the story of which included events for a period of 60 years of the poet Aleksa Šantić. I started my career in a TV series called “ Around the world in 80 days”, and then worked in a film opera “ Boris Godunov” in 1989. I fell in love with this glamorous artform at an early age, through my mother Radmila Todorović, who is a make up designer, and my father Branko Ivatović who was a cinematographer. My name is Sandra Ivatović, and I am a film makeup artist and hair stylist.

I want to thank all my producers, directors and fellow filmmakers I have worked with over the years, who believed in me, my ability and my talent and gave me an opportunity to create the magic of film alongside them.
